Mickey Hess, Ph.D., is Professor of English at Rider University and a published novelist and nonfiction author. He has over twenty years of experience teaching creative writing at the college level. His students have published in such venues as McSweeney’s and Three Rooms Press, been accepted to graduate programs in creative writing at Columbia University and Emerson College, and hold jobs in publishing at HarperCollins and Penguin.
